CoThera is currently available only to users who are at least 18 years old.

2. Domestic Violence Disclosure

By using CoThera, you confirm that there is no recent domestic violence or ongoing threat of harm between you and your selected contacts.

CoThera is not a substitute for conventional couples therapy, emergency services, legal advice, medical care, or crisis intervention. Users experiencing significant distress, safety concerns, coercion, abuse, or escalating conflict are encouraged to seek appropriate professional resources.

3. Confidentiality

Information shared within CoThera is intended to support structured communication between you and your selected contact. Communications between you and your contacts are treated as private within the app experience.

De-identified information may be used for research, product improvement, analytics, and development purposes, as further described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All materials provided by CoThera, including prescreening questions, prompts, instructions, protocols, app logic, design structure, written content, and related materials, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Users agree not to copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, modify, or create derivative works based on CoThera materials without explicit written permission.

5. Informed Consent and App Limitations

By using CoThera, you acknowledge that app-based tools have limits. CoThera is designed as a structured, self-guided relationship communication tool and does not replace individualized professional assessment, diagnosis, or treatment.

6. User Responsibility

Users are expected to provide accurate information during onboarding, invite creation, relationship-profile questions, and follow-up processes.

Users are encouraged to communicate openly, participate in good faith, and use CoThera only when it is appropriate and safe to do so.

7. Technology Limitations

Users acknowledge that technology may have limitations, including interruptions, technical issues, data-entry errors, delayed notifications, or security vulnerabilities.

CoThera strives to provide a secure and reliable platform, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

8. Termination of Services

CoThera reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these Terms, engage in harmful behavior, misuse the app, or pose a risk to themselves or others.

9. Professional Advice

CoThera does not provide therapeutic services by licensed professionals through the app. Users are advised to consult qualified professionals if conflicts escalate, if safety concerns are present, or if professional guidance is needed.

10. Modification of Terms

CoThera may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

By using CoThera, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Failure to follow these Terms may result in termination of your account.
